Emmanuelle Luciani

Emmanuelle Luciani is a curator, art historian and artist. With degrees in art history and from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Marseille, she imagines and designs artworks and exhibitions, where she puts into practice her theoretical reflections on history, time, as well as on the relations between contemporary art and decorative arts, and between pop culture and classical culture.

Emmanuelle Luciani’s exhibitions are total, transgenerational and transdisciplinary installations. As a curator, she has imagined and implemented since 2012 many ambitious exhibitions, mobilizing artists of international stature (Korakrit Arunanondchai, Urs Fischer, Luigi Ontani, Sterling Ruby, Ariana Papademetropoulos, Betty Woodman…). She has notably organized “Pre-Capital” (Moco, Montpellier, with Nicolas Bourriaud), “Les Chemins du Sud” (Mrac de Sérignan). “Anima Mundi” (crypt of the abbey Saint-Victor, Marseille) and “Uncanny Depths” (MAMO, Marseille).

For Radicants, Emmanuelle Luciani is curating an exhibition in collaboration with the Maison Pinton.
